Manage strategy and operations for port drayage, warehouse SOP's and KPI's to efficiently flow merchandise to Distribution Center.Effectively collaborate with inbound ocean team, importing from over 14 origins into 6 domestic ports to source enough transload capacity for inbound ocean containers. Also collaborate with linehaul/trucking team to source enough OTR trailer capacity to facilitate flow out of transload warehouses.Forecast and project volumes into various ports to understand downstream impacts for entire domestic transportation network.Identifying opportunities to eliminate wasteful spending, continuously adjusting and analyzing provider contracts to align with market rates, implement new processes to reduce port fess, customs fees, warehouse fees within entire Supply Chain network.Serving as main CRM for multiple providers on a daily basis. Leading calls to review performance to KPI's, whether providers are following SOP's, communicating successes while also identifying opportunities of providers. Creating incremental milestones to ensure provider meets expectations moving forward.
