About Brady Nelson
I got my start at a healthcare data analytics company and quickly realized in a project working with the finance department where I wanted to end up in my career. We were projecting headcount and budgeting to know how many salespeople to hire and in what timeline in order to hit our revenue goals after a recent series of fundraising from investors. I didn’t want the project to end; I found my real passion was in data modeling and predictive analytics. Over the past several years I've dedicated myself to building the skills necessary to be a key contributor. Through my experience at Goldman Sachs, working on private equity deals while completing an MS in Finance degree from the University of Utah, I developed a penchant for completing complex projects within tight deadlines. I currently implement SQL, PowerBI, dbt (data build tool), and Python to provide insights that ultimately accomplish financial and business goals. I'm an avid runner, having participated in several ultramarathons, and love a good game of chess too.

Business Intelligence Data Analyst
Created and automated delivery of custom SQL queries for clients analyzing their payment, invoicing, and order-to-cash needs. As part of the data analytics team, I worked with data engineers and across the product dept. to produce a customer-facing dashboard providing insights into payments and days-to-pay trends. Met weekly with FP&A and CFO to produce same-store growth analysis, key performance metrics dashboard (used in public reporting of non-GAAP KPIs to investors), ARR starts report used in forecasting revenue, revenue dashboard allowing various drilldowns, weekly sales flash with pipeline funnel, and provided ad hoc support on projects.
