Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports. Prepare owner, subcontractor change orders. Knowledge of plan reading, inclusive of civil, architectural, and structural construction plans and completing take offs and verifying pricing estimates as necessary.Select, contract, and oversee workers who complete specific pieces of the project, from start to finish in commercial construction.Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods .Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, SWPPP ,or other regulations.Confer with supervisor’s foreman, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.Manage all contract documents including the preparation of plans and documentation for bid process; verify accuracy and completeness of all documents.Manage multiple employees in our estimating dep’t & superintendents on each project.
