I’m a Creative Director with 20+ years experience helping decisive brands tell authentic and intentional brand stories. I currently work at Wide Eye, leading brand-building and strategy for purpose-driven clients such as 2024 progressive political brands like the Democratic National Convention, Harris for President, and Priorities, USA, as well as bipartisan organizations like Refugees International, Legal Services NYC, and the Carter Center. I have also built, refreshed, and expanded brands like HardPin Media, Snapchat, Protect Democracy, and Health Resources in Action. Prior to this role, I served as the National Creative Director at Planned Parenthood Federation of America where (in partnership with my team and agency partners) we created the advocacy brand that you recognize today and expanded brand storytelling across the country. In my career, I have been lucky enough to work with a wide variety of national and international clients, companies, and causes, including the ONE campaign, Amnesty International, and, The Peace Corps. I hold both a BFA and MA from the Maryland Institute College of Art, and consider my AmeriCorps residency in 2009 in Baltimore City one of the most impactful experiences of my life. I am proud to have led teams and projects that received recognition from the American Advertising Association, Gold Muse Awards, The Webbys, Ad Forum, Ad Week Arc Awards, Brand New, Fast Company, Telly, and internationally from HOW Magazine.Recent Awards:2021 Webby Award - Activism for 2019 “Unstoppable” 2021 Webby Award - Public Service & Activism - “Ours to Tell” 2021 Ad Forum - #1 Ad in the World 2021 - “Be Seen”2021 Shorty Awards Finalist - “Ours to Tell” 2021 Telly Award - Silver in Diversity & Inclusivity - “This is Health Care”2021 Telly Award - Silver in Branded Content - “This is Health Care”2020 Gold and Royal Gem Diamond Awards, Queen Palm International Film Festival - “Ours to Tell” 2020 Best Doc.
