I teach in-person and online undergraduate/graduate courses and invest in my students by taking a personal interest in their career goals and mentorship. I teach Introduction to Psychology, Counseling Theories and Techniques, Family Dynamics, Counseling Children & Adolescents, Human Development, Marriage & Family, Crisis Counseling. I also instruct graduate students in Advanced Crisis Counseling.

I specialize in anxiety and anger and have extensive experience working with couples, men, helping professionals, pastors/ministers, and helping people recognize their programming within their mind that is impact their bodies from moving forward. I takes an integrative, holistic approach to counseling looking at the body, soul, and spirit to see the areas of disharmony, while meeting people where they are in life and walking alongside them as they take their next stepAs a counselor to pastors, adults, teens, children, and families in areas of family dynamics, pre-marriage/marriage, depression, behavior disorders, substance abuse, financial problems, trauma, cellular memories, and soul issues, I take a Biblical approach to helping my clients. I also assist pastors in working through professional and personal concerns. We identify strategies for overcoming hurdles that may be holding them back from the freedom that is in Christ. 

Many college interns rotate through my practices to build their skills and prepare for the counseling workforce or further education. 

In addition to my mentorship and counseling work, I have consulted with more than 10 ministry programs to construct next-generation pastoral care programs and departments. This work is particularly rewarding because it’s fascinating to see people coming together around a vision for future leaders and disciples.
