Manage and grow the DEVCOM Soldier Center's STEM program. This includes: coordinating student tours of lab facilities, organizing Subject Matter Expert (SME) conversations with students, designing STEM learning activities that highlight and mirror Army technology, represent Soldier Center at public event exhibitions, and host an annual STEM competition for local students.

Advising and accelerating the spread of aerospace education in India and beyond. Serving as an educational consultant while bringing the perspective of best practices in American aerospace education to the table.

As a Teacher Liaison to The Space Foundation, I serve as a link between students and the aerospace industry to connect students to the multitude of possibilities of space. I work with the foundation and other liaisons to improve space education in both our schools and our broader school communities.

-Course Leader for Honors Chemistry. Honors Chemistry introduced the major principles of chemistry through applied or thematic approaches. These ideas allow students to draw connections between traditional chemistry concept and real-world situations. -Creator of two Space electives: Air and Space and Space Technologies. Air and Space is an elective that focuses on the idea of space exploration and understanding the multitude of ways space relates to human life. Space Technologies is a course designed to allow students to take deeper dive into to the space technologies of rocketry and robotics. The rocketry unit is meant to coincide with the national TARC competition, allowing students the possibility to compete. The robotics unit allows students to design and redesign a rover that will complete a series of missions on a simulated Mars environment, which they also construct. -Director of the St. Mark's Space Program, which has the mission to raise community awareness and engagement in space issues and events. The program accomplishes this through a variety of tasks and also involves further developing and expanding observatory capabilities and managing an overall program budget.-STEM Fellowship Mentor, supporting students in conducting original, independent research in an area of their choosing. Current project includes aerodynamics and inverted airfoils. Past projects include Protein based 3D Bioprinting, Photo-actuated Elastomers, Surgical Stress Response, organism survival on Enceladus, and Seed Germination in Martian Atmosphere-(Former) Head Coach Boys JV soccer and JV baseball, typically consisting of 20-22 student-athletes with a varying range of abilities, competing in the ISL with approximately two games per week

Earned my master’s degree in one year while gaining intensive hands-on experience in a rural public school. This field-based immersion program creates opportunities for new teachers to build skills and prepare for Massachusetts Initial Licensure.• Courses completed included Teaching Science in High School Methods, Working as a High School Teacher, Teaching in High School, and Education in Context. Classes to be taken second semester include Integrating Science with Technology, Adolescent Growth and Development, and Advanced Methods in Teaching Science.

Was teacher of record for two classes (23 students per class) during the spring semester. Covered all the material required by the Massachusetts State standards, including some extra material such as light and the electromagnetic spectrum.

Co-taught, as an intern, a class that was the equivalent of a full-year, college-preparatory course in chemistry. Study included were background skills, atomic theory, the periodic table, chemical bonding, chemical reactions, the mole concept, and many additional topics. Lecture, discussion, problem-solving, laboratory work, demonstrations, and group work were included in the presentation of the various chemical concepts.

Provided customers with technical support regarding usage of chemicals purchased. Technical service included daily and weekly testing, drawdowns, inventory, equipment maintenance, chemical proposals, safety related items, and general support not necessarily related to Ashland chemicals. -Daily and weekly testing included: microbiological testing (ATP and Aerobic Count), Wet End testing (retention, charge, etc.), biocide testing (BAC residual and stability), and chemical drawdowns. Other daily tasks included coordinating chemical drop-offs throughout the mill and completing chemical transfers according to the proper safety guidelines.-Updated all Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS's) throughout customer mills, created 10 safety procedures known as Job Safety Analyses (JSA's), used JSA's to review procedures creating Job Safety Observations (JSO's). Performed safety audits, ensuring that all areas surrounding the chemical systems were safe and to code. These were to be implemented company wide.-Inventoried all equipment at one mill to reduce capital spending on new equipment. Approximate savings from reuse/refurbishing of equipment was $100,000.-Extensively tested wet end charge on a towel machine and plotted it versus the ratio of two chemicals being used. This proved that the chemical ratio was an extremely important factor in the production of quality paper and the optimal ratio was adopted as rule among the process engineers and machine operators. Chemical usage was reduced approximately by 33%, which resulted in cost savings for the customer.-Created an informational booklet for each paper machine that included: the chemical used on each machine, spill and hazard information, schematics of chemical delivery systems and injection points, dosage/usage rates, electrical information, personnel/contact information, and emergency response. Also included all JSA's associated with each system and chemical transfer information that was necessary.

Producing mesoporous silicates, experimented with synthesis and future metal catalyst applications.

Summer job through 2001-2006. Performed basic servicing of laptops and desktops, re-imaged computers, deployment, and adding/removing of computers and printers from domain. Was also responsible for organizing received equipment, developing a schedule for the distribution of equipment, and executing that schedule in proper manner and required timeframe.
