Technical Success Manager - Strategic Accounts
Associate Technical Consultant
Engaged with customers across diverse environments (Java, .NET, Python, C/C++, etc) and deployments (on-prem, AWS, Azure, GCP) to configure and realize the most value from AppDynamics, a full-stack observability platform. Supported Java based extensions by debugging code level issues, providing configuration guidance and best practice advice. Engaged with customers and provided guidance during the process of migrating from AppD as an on-prem solution to a cloud-based SaaS approach.
Staff Software Engineer
As a contract employee, I was responsible for integrating nuclear weapons model codes into ARA's existing frameworks for DoD strategic applications. Using C++/Fortran interoperability and Java JNI I created wrappers to pass data and improved the memory usage for passing multi-dimensional arrays from C++ to Fortran. I created Java and C++ tests and verification cases and created Jenkins jobs to include these in automatic build tests.
Development Engineer
I was a development engineer working on IR emitters for DoD funded customers. I used Python to generate job information for photolithography stepper jobs for my project as well as other customers. I was responsible for interacting with customers, hands on wafer processing and experimental planning.
Visiting Assistant Professor
I was on a one year contract to teach both calculus and algebra based introductory physics courses and their associated laboratory sections. I taught an upper level experimental physics lab, designed to instruct students in writing in science and engineering, as well as experimental techniques and data analysis with Python. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I quickly transitioned my courses and lab to online format. I taught introductory physics labs online during the summer.
Process Engineer
I worked as a Technology Development Process Engineer at Intel in front end plasma dry etch. I was responsible for leading research efforts to develop plasma etch processes which enable new future device architectures. I was responsible for developing new intellectual property by designing novel approaches to manufacturing processes. I owned the sustaining and installation of new plasma etch equipment in a 24/7 clean room manufacturing environment. I oversaw the development of new processes from initial development to high volume manufacturing.
Intern
Research intern at NASA Goddard with the Planetary Systems Laboratory. Research activity included the characterization of chalcogenide based waveguide chips using a QCL and optical bench, characterization of a blackbody source for implementation in the chalcogenide optical setup as well as work with a net flux radiometer proof of concept for future planetary missions.
