Current• Continued Support and Development of Legacy Java Code: I continue to maintain and enhance the Import, Export, and Transfer functionality of our core software platform, ensuring ongoing reliability and functionality of the legacy system.• Modernization of Transfer Service to a Microservice Architecture: I helped to transformation of our Transfer Service from a monolithic architecture to a scalable microservice using AWS, Spring framework, React, and Redux. I built out Transfer Setup and Transfer Log tables with pagination, filters, and role-based security, ensuring seamless access control and data accuracy. Designed endpoints for real-time updates to export logs and implemented dynamic file renaming for improved tracking.• CAS Integration: Finalized CAS authentication for secure API calls, aligning with OAuth2 standards and ensuring secure communication with AWS microservices.• UI and UX Improvements: Updated export wizard pages to support new business logic, added intuitive filters for bulk data recovery, and designed modular components to reduce page bloat and improve user experience.• Data Integrity and Error Handling: Developed validations to prevent duplicate configurations, added custom field selectors for specialized change files, and set up error alerts for quick recovery in data integrations. • Improving Test Coverage with JaCoCo: Implemented JaCoCo to analyze and enhance test coverage across our codebase by identifying and addressing areas with low coverage. Successfully increased line coverage by 40% in our legacy codebase through targeted unit and integration testing initiatives.• Providing Comprehensive Xray Manual Tests: Created and executed detailed Xray manual tests, ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Additionally, this provided documentation for UI Automation handoff, thereby ensuring robust testing strategies and seamless transition to automation.
