I have served as a Texas A&M Agriculture and Natural Resources County Extension Agent in 4 counties across the state. Each county has brought its own blend of agriculture, youth, and administrative responsibilities and needs. Over the last several years I have worked to build the Defaid brand, my family livestock operation and general store. This has lead to the leadership opportunities within the sheep industry on a state and national level. I have used my developed marketing and communication strategies to share not only the Defaid brand but empower the sheep industry. Today I serve on the American Sheep Industry’s Producer Education and Research Committee and as the co-chair to the Young and Emerging Entrepreneurs sub-committee. I am a member of Ag Women Connect and I have a passion to promote and support the agriculture industry across the board.
