I am a quality-driven and motivated I.T. professional with more than a decade of experience in network and system administration and a strong background in customer support. Just a brief personal history...I joined the U.S. Marine Corps after high school and got my first taste of general tech support and administration serving as my unit's Administrative Technician / Training Coordinator in addition to performing my duties as a Fire Direction Controlman for multiple batteries within the 11th Marine Regiment. After a successful 4-year enlistment including multiple deployments overseas and an honorable discharge with commendations. I eventually took an entry-level I.T. position and quickly moved into my role as the Director of Technology for Big Springs Charter School District. I worked for the school district for 6 years before deciding to go back to college to pursue further education. I now hold a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Information Technology specializing in Networking and am employed as a HelpDesk Technician for Foreflight: A Boeing Company! My strong background of providing, supporting and implementing technology in various environments serves me well as I work to bridge the gap between operations and I.T. I pride myself on providing quick and efficient support to my fellow coworkers and clients with a positive and optimistic attitude that I believe is often lacking in I.T. personnel.As I move forward in my career, I always aim to hold positions that would enable me to exercise and utilize my varied experience as well as perpetually honing and expanding upon my skillset. I always try to work hard and produce great results.
