Assisting in email marketing campaigns and data entry, management, and retrieval, I significantly increased efficiency for the role through researching and optimizing a previously very time-demanding, recurring responsibility. Primary softwares involved are Excel and Dynamics 365 CRM.

With AFA being a small firm, I experienced the responsibility of wearing many hats that coincides and handled a broad range of projects while focusing on engaging in the financial planning process. I performed investment research through Morningstar, comparing different mutual funds and ETFs, drafting reports to share with the financial advisors for future investment decisions. Additionally, I reviewed the limited options in clients' 401(k) plans who could not be traded according to our models, drafted a proposed portfolio aligning to their risk tolerance using Riskalyze, and traded the accounts. I also assisted in developing financial plans with MoneyGuidePro, handling initial data input, marking additional needed information, drafting improved scenarios, and researching specific questions where needed. Through this unique period of market uncertainty, I had the opportunity to speak to and ease the worries of distressed clients focusing on the behavioral aspects of my education.

During this intership I supported the financial planning teams in a mostly back office role. Working closely with the financial planners, I assisted them in servicing clients by gathering data across Tamarac CRM, Advisor View, Schwab, and Henssler's personal planning software, HFDV. I supported the planning process by helping create Cash Flow Projections, Investment Policy Statements, and Liquidity Lists, used to solve for a client's required liquid asset percentage to follow Henssler's integral '10-year rule'. I also learned, prepared, and processed many various Schwab forms to manage the accounts of our clients as well as compiled and prepared the booklets used to facilitate client meetings.
