As a commercial superintendent I am responsible for the completion of projects from the beginning of construction to the end. I schedule subcontractors, schedule inspections, hold team meetings, approve change orders, and quality control. Completed projects include two hotels (120 units and 84 units), surgery center, law offices, banks, real estate offices, and retail stores.

As a Superintendent and PM I coordinated our sub contractors’ schedules and the purchasing of materials and their delivery to the job site. I was responsible for material takeoffs, getting plans out to bid, creating spreadsheets, project costs, as well as running the jobs. My administrative responsibilities included using Quickbooks, writing checks, receiving and posting bills and invoices, and entitlements.

I worked here full time during summer break. I worked with a form and finish crew for concrete and masonry. We built outdoor kitchens, barbecues, fire pits, pergolas, gazebos, and trellises.
