In 2023, I began my professional journey in the world of networking as a Virtual Sales Intern at Juniper Networks. From day one, I was captivated by the utilization and implementation of AI monitoring into switches, routers, and through the cloud and microservices. It was here that I realized the power of modern solutions to today’s networking problems. During my internship at Juniper Networks, I was able to generate business for a line of products that I know have and will continue to change the modern networking landscape. I booked and held the most meetings by an Intern and was the Mist Madness Intern pitch Co-Champion.This experience allowed me to develop some technical knowledge and understand how Juniper can produce 90% fewer networking trouble tickets, an 85% reduction in networking OPEX, take 50% less time on incident resolution, and be deployed up to 9x faster than other competitors. Building on this foundation, I moved into a full-time role as a Sales Development Representative at Juniper Networks upon my graduation from Hampden-Sydney College. In this role, I face challenges such as demand and pipeline generation, progressing prospects through the sales cycle. In this role I became the first and only SDR to surpass the 200% attainment mark in the 2024 fiscal year and generated 185.19% attainment in Q3.In October of 2024 I transitioned into a struggling Bay Area territory as a gap coverage Account Development Representative.My career has been and will continue to be driven by a commitment to reducing the headaches of overworked networking professionals through cutting-edge networking technology. I am excited to continue to operate on the edge of what is possible and to stay at the forefront of technological advancements in networking as “The Leader of Leaders” in the Gartner Magic Quadrant.I am always open to connecting with like-minded professionals and exploring collaborative opportunities.
