I am a Corporate Staff Accountant at Carespring Health Care Management, where I oversee a variety of accounting tasks, including bank reconciliations, cash sheets, and process improvement. Over the past year, I have developed several VBA coding projects in Excel that have revolutionized how our department operates, automating lengthy and tedious tasks across the Accounting Department and beyond.One of my standout projects was the automation of cash sheets, a process that previously required an entire day from two employees, which I successfully reduced to just 15 minutes—essentially the equivalent of hiring two additional accountants at no extra cost. Another significant achievement was the creation of a comprehensive Cost Accounting software solution in Excel that merged accounting and operational functions into one integrated workbook. This in-house solution has potentially saved the company from incurring the costs of a costly subscription service.
