As a Junior in Virginia Tech’s Computer Science program, I've developed an extensive skill set that would be well-employed with your organization. I have been continually pursuing the field of IT from the age of 14, where I was employed by my home school district to troubleshoot and repair hardware issues with student devices. Through my high school and college coursework I have become proficient in several programming languages and environments, frequently collaborating with my classmates in a joint-development environment. I am eager to employ these skills in a professional internship setting, and build new competencies in a variety of IT subject-areas. Through my involvement with the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets Cyber Team I have participated in numerous cybersecurity competitions to include CTFs, Hack the Box, and Attack/Defense events. My practiced and tested ability to multitask and perform under stress will be an asset to your organization. Additionally, I am confident that the leadership and execution skills I have cultivated as an Eagle Scout have prepared me to excel within your team.
