In the role of Senior R&D Program Manager, I am responsible for tracking vendor related spend for PowerSchool’s R&D and CloudOps Departments.Among the tasks included are the following:- Work with technical staff and department VPs to identify spending needs.- Engage R&D and CloudOps leadership to develop vendor spend budgets. - Maintain and track vendor spend within departments against budgets. - Engage vendors to execute on purchase requests and renewals.- Process and track purchases through Netsuite Accounting System. - Work closely with Procurement, Finance, and Accounting departments on spend.

Responsible for the overall management and delivery of Cloud/SaaS Services from two datacenters located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and Chico, California. Lead a department consisting of system engineers, system administrators, application developers, and support staff to maintain data centers housing several hundred servers running various operating systems. Cloud group supports more than five hundred school districts and municipalities running SunGard applications which include Financial Management, Student Management, Curriculum Management, and Community Management software. Additional responsibilities include management of application software deployment, sales support, departmental budgeting, staff performance evaluation, and extensive internal and external customer support. Prior roles include management of team responsible for building new software releases of SunGard financial products, a custom programming team, and two help desk customer support teams. Successful advancement within SunGard since starting as Computer Programmer in 1994.

As a Business Systems Developer, I was responsible for the development of software applications targeted to the newspaper and publishing industries. In this role, I was the lead developer for an extensive rewrite of the SCS newspaper circulation management system and the Project leader for the development of a General Ledger package.

As a Computer Operator, I was responsible for the daily operations tasks in an IBM mainframe data center. The data center supported the information needs of a multi-campus regional hospital center.
