With over 20 years of project delivery experience predominantly in the Aviation industry, I’ve gained extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects, programs and portfolios of work on small to major projects around the world. I have led client side teams, design engineering teams and construction teams and continue to do so today. My strengths are leadership, building strong and resilient teams, financial and commercial management, negotiation, communication, public speaking and stakeholder relationships. Technically, I am highly experienced in the design of airside infrastructure in accordance with International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and Australia MOS 139 standards. I have gained extensive on-site experience on some of the largest construction projects in Europe, including Heathrow Terminal 5.As a Project Manager, I have managed various civil engineering related projects both on the design and construction side, with most of these in the transport environment. I have excellent knowledge and practical experience of the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Guide and New Engineering Contract (NEC), Theories from the Lean Construction Institute (USA), innovation, supply chain management and change management.I bring a specific focus on health and safety, quality, programming and administering contract agreements, backed by a sound understanding and application of design. I have worked and lived on three continents. I love travelling around the world, which has helped me value the cultural diversity and uniqueness of the world we live in.
