METERCOM had been set up on 2002 with main objective of making and supplying emerging markets with low Cost Electronic Communicating Energy Meter. Thanks to New Investor (J. Reboul), METERCOM becomes international group with affiliates set in Morocco, India and Brazil for expanding business. New activity was developped successfully in the same time and it was based on design, manaufactur and supply of AC/DC adaptor for industrial market (Ingenico, Sagem, Thales, Verifone, Hypercom ...etc.)As Founder of and CEO of METERCOM Group. Here below the key performances: - In 2003, Metercom has been created in order to be a key player in Smart (Grid) energy metering business. We targetted the emerging market by offering one of the latest technology for metering and communication. I set up R&D center (40 engineers) and manufacturing in India and a second manuufacturing unit in Morocco for local business. - In 2003, a new investor (Business Angel) joined me, providing Metercom more financial resources for faster growth. - In 2004, I set up new business in Metercom based on developing and supplying adapter (Chargers) for mobile devices. The manufacturing unit was set up in India. The business generated an average of 4M$/year and supplied more than 700ku/year. The key customer are Ingenico, Sagem, Gemalto, Hypercom …etc. - In 2008, j’ai transferred the production to China (Shenzhen) for productivity achievement and easy logistic. - In 2009, Metercom started new activity of LED streetlighting through acquisition of Lyracom SAS in Bordeaux (France)
