About Brahmdeep Saini, Phd

I am driven to acquire data and synthesize evidence-based research to improve health outcomes. I have 8+ years of experience in leading and managing clinical research projects involving multi-disciplinary teams of clinicians, professors, scientists, technologists, and students including both local and international collaborations.I draw on my diverse range of experiences including my background in engineering, which helped me develop analytical and problem-solving skills. Through my PhD training I gained a deeper understanding on hypothesis-driven and structured methodologies to advance the assessment of placental health during pregnancy using functional and quantitative MRI techniques. I have published in peer-reviewed journals, and submitted abstracts and presented at national and international conferences. My wholistic approach to professional and personal growth and my passion for community outreach drives me to volunteer my time in a number of engagements ranging from social impact consulting, hospital volunteerism, youth education, scientific judging, peer mentoring and more.
