I have spent the last 2 years selling product and consulting with liquor retailers for a wine and spirits distributor. I have excelled in the role by growing Diageo and Moët-Hennessy product sales by 6% in my first year and 19% in my 2nd year. I have also consistently reached distribution and supplier targets and won sales incentive competitions. I have accomplished this by relentlessly communicating with customers on a weekly basis, either in person or over the phone and by using simple sales techniques taught by my company. Before this sales role I was a data analyst in the same division. I would routinely support the sales teams, trade directors, and VPs by creating ad hoc reports, performance trackers, incentive reports, etc. I became familiar with industry data and analysis with this role. I rely on my patience and ability to listen to make sure customers, coworkers, and superiors are relaying all the necessary information to create a successful atmosphere. I was often rewarded for my customer satisfaction with praise and bonuses while employed at Geologic, Inc and Uhaul Inc. This was a result of good communication and a strong sense of hard work.
