As a Business Analyst, my primary responsibilities are requirements gathering, documentation and managing the development workload using a Kanban board. To conduct requirements elicitation, I will typically work with internal/external stakeholders, using a combination of workshops, questionnaires, interviews and document analysis. This will translate into process flows. Steps will then be broken down into individual user stories on the Kanban board for our internal development team or external consultants. These user stories will also be adapted into testing scripts. I will typically support the PM and stakeholders throughout the UAT process and transition into production with user guides.

FirstBase IT are a SaaS company who provide modular insurance software to a range of clients in the Automotive industry. • Within FirstBase IT, I act in the capacity of Project Manager & Business Analyst for distinct geographical regions.• Working in the capacity of a Business Analyst gaining complete exposure to the Software Development Life Cycle from Project Initiation (PID), Discovery (MosCoW, User Stories, GAP-Analysis, Swim Lanes, DFDs using Visio), Design (Notepad++, As Is-to Be) to Testing (Postman) and BAU using the aforementioned tools to help elicit and present requirements to key stakeholders and our offshore development team alike. • Management of my given regions is run through bi-weekly SCRUM meetings and the maintenance of a JIRA system logging tickets and Project Progression.
