Rocco is a highly experienced systems engineer and compliance specialist with a career spanning over 30 years’ in the naval/marine, aerospace/defence, nuclear and robotics industries - specifically autonomous and remotely controlled vessels and AUVs/ROVs.As systems engineer he has led numerous multi-disciplinary teams to delivering complex design solutions – from initial concept of operations, requirements, design and integration to test and deployment. As project / programme manager he has transferred his structured approaches to project teams, helping them to optimise their processes, delivery plans, team structures and strategies, quality assurance arrangements, competency adherence and client and regulatory stakeholder management.He has an in-depth knowledge of multinational safety regulatory regimes and developing and managing risk management frameworks and safety cases to achieve safety and compliance.
