As an Account Director I’m primarily responsible for the management of relationships with clients. As the senior point of contact for the agency’s customers, I co-ordinate the resources needed to service projects, build strategic operational plans and balance the expectations of clients with the execution of creative work.

The key position of Worldline in the heart of Belgian economy is both complex and fascinating. Making sure that journalists understand well what our vision, position and ambitions are, is my main task. As an innovative company in a fast moving environment, it is key to make sure that the Belgian (and international) public knows what the future of electronic payment will bring and how it can improve and secure the daily life of both merchants and consumers. As a member of the communications department, I participate in of internal communication projects, events and PA projects.

As spokesperson responsable for press relations, I organized the introduction of Mr. Rudi Vervoort as Prime Minister of the Brussels region to the press. Setting up the communications department, creating relations with key journalists and organizing interviews and press conferences was my day to day task during this project.

Understanding how politics work and translating the context to members of parliament, so they can develop their (social democratic) vision on the great city that Brussels is (or can be): that’s the job of a political advisor. A part from developing a clear vision on the city, as a political advisor I daily worked on legislation, parliamentary questions, speeches and press releases.

The party bureau is the body that determines the direction of the party and is responsible for important political and organizational decisions.

I defended social democratic ideals towards the Belgian public, organised numerous street actions and debates, was responsable for a 3000 member strong organisation with a small staff, worked on media relations and represented the orgnanisation in the National Bureau of the socialist party.

I developed the communication department, focusing on press relations and e-channel development.

I advised the secretary of Justice on several topics, including nominations, religious sects, LGTB aggression during the final year of the mandate of the Deputy Prime Minister and Secretary of Justice Laurette Onkelinx.

I was responsible for the administration and the events for the youth organization of the Party of European Socialists. I organized several events, workshops and meetings in several European countries; worked on communication and organized a 1500 people summer camp.
