Responsible for implementing Operational Excellence on the shop floor and built and sustain the high-performance culture. The powder operation has four production departments: weigh & dispense, processing, drying and packaging. Weigh & dispense and processing both produce products for our liquid and powder operations. All departments operate in a 5 shift 24/7 operation.

My main focus is operations (manufacturing, logistics, QA). I execute projects using lean, six sigma, DMAIC and change management tools but also train and coach other staff.

As production manager I have been responsible for the strategy and performance of the powder operation at the Zwolle site. This operation consists of three production departments; processing, drying and packaging led by three team leaders and an operations support team with shift leaders (6) and several support functions such as quality engineers, technicians, process engineers and production planners. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to output, efficiency, customer service, product quality, financial performance, HR and EHS.The powder operation consists of approximately 110 FTE. Most employees work in a 5 shift operation (24/7).

As engineering manager I have been responsible for the engineering department as well as the maintenance department including utilities, calibration, plant automation, technical documentation, spare parts warehouse and all round maintenance technicians.

As project manager in the engineering department I have managed several engineering project at the Zwolle site including a project for the installation of a powder blending line for flavour blending and a project for a 250 ml Tetra Bric aseptic filling line with UHT for product sterilisation and downstream packaging equipment.

As project manager at Tetra Pak Tebel bv, The Nehterlands, I have managed several projects for the engineering, construction and commissioning of complete cheese production lines, mainly for Gouda and Cheddar cheeses. These lines are built in different countries around the world like New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Ireland, Germany, Portugal, Italy, Lithuania and The Netherlands

In this job I have been responsible for upgrading the product portfolio of Tetra Pak Tebel bv, The Neterlands to comply with the European regulations for machine safety (Machine directive, Low voltage directive, EMC directive, etc.). These directives describes the safety regulations that the suppliers needs follow to be able to sell equipment on the European market.
