I try to find novel ways to reduce the carbon footprint of buildings. This means replacing the old-fashioned HVAC systems and developing novel software that uses the latest advances of Artificial Intelligence in order to control an HVAC system optimally.Next to Artificial Intelligence, I have an immense passion for programming, which is why I love doing both the state-of-the-art research as well as the end-to-end implementation within software systems, from frontend to backend to embedded software solutions.
