Responsible for the establishment and development, strategic direction, management, research quality, external representation, positioning and policy development and fundraising of the Mixed Migration Centre.

As the RMMS coordinator I am responsible for the overall strategy and implementation of the Regional Mixed Migration Secretariat, including management of the Secretariat, developing its expanding role in the region and beyond, maintaining its current activities and deliverables as established in recent years, staff management and overall management of the Mixed Migration Monitoring Mechanism initiative (4Mi)

As the RMMS Migration Specialist, I am involved in, and managing, a range of research projects on mixed migration within and beyond the Horn of Africa and Yemen region. I am also providing technical support to and ensuring coordination between the other regional mixed migration hubs within the Danish Refugee Council, including in West Africa, the Central and South West Asia region and the Middle East and North Africa. Other responsibilities include drafting of briefing and discussion papers, feature articles and external representation of RMMS in international conferences and seminars.

Independent consultant in migration research and evaluation, based in Nairobi, Kenya. Before that I worked as a senior policy researcher and project manager at Panteia/Research voor Beleid in the Netherlands. I have extensive experience in policy research, consultancy and evaluation.
