Elevation Partners is a staffing company that consists of 4 labels. We are located in 3 cities (Amsterdam, Den Bosch & Düsseldorf). Approximately 150 consultants are working for one of the labels of EP. After 4 years of work at Elevation Partners as both a Recruitment Consultant and Sales Team Manager, I made the switch to the Learning & Development department. My main responsibilities within this department are:- My key focus is to continuously improve the learning journey and development of our Medior, Senior & Principal Consultants by offering a Performance Management program. - Designing & facilitating a new 'buddy' program, focussed on preparing Senior and Principal consultants to become a Sales Team Manager.- Conducting assessments amongst our junior staff to monitor their progress and increase their learning journey.- Team coaching/building- Highly experienced in stakeholder management

HLE is an international organisation that manages order-to-cash services along with logistics and warehousing, which are outsourced by mainly American life science manufacturing companies. HLE is the back office organization for more than 130 companies, ranging from emerging businesses to multinational corporations. The company can be best described as young, dynamic and ambitious with a focus on the medical sector, which distinguishes itself by its client-oriented approach and high-quality service.Despite the fact that HLE is a global supplier, HLE’s clientele is mainly American. This is due to the large amount of medical device manufacturers located in the United States. However, the European market shows great potential too. Within Europe the United Kingdom is one of the most interesting markets. Besides its extensive size, the brexit has a huge (potential) influence on this market, which results in possible chances for European third party logistics. Due to these reasons HLE was interested in the chances on the British market during these uncertain times. The purpose of this thesis was to find out how attractive the British medical device market is for HLE and how this market could be approached.
