The Technology Center provides an inviting place for faculty and students to explore library resources and apply innovative multimedia technologies in support of teaching, learning, and research. Support is available in the form of hardware, software, and staff expertise in the creation and manipulation of digital media. Librarians are available to help patrons locate appropriate library resources and incorporate them into their research or teaching project. Technical assistance is available to help visitors with special hardware and software needs. Various levels of printing support are provided.

The Community Development Intern works out of the 21st Ward's TMAP Office - a public office open throughout the week to assist residents with their needs. The intern helps address constituent concerns, organize events, document and photograph problem properties and vacant land and buildings, and assist with large scale redevelopment projects working to revitalize St. Louis' urban core. The intern is involved in the rebuilding of two historic St. Louis neighborhoods and the redevelopment of two of the largest parks in the city. The intern is responsible for daily duties, including answering phones and greeting guests, logging constituent complaints, blogging, writing press releases, working on the NorthSider newspaper, planning community events, and conducting research.
