Bram van Loon started to study Medicine at the Radboud UniversityNijmegen in 2001. In 2007 he obtained his Medical Degree. He then spent two years asa researcher at the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery Radboud UniversityNijmegen , Medical Centre under prof. dr. S.J. Bergé working with other engineers and medical docters at the 3D project. From 2009 he studied dentistry within a specific program for medical doctors(Tandartsen Opleiding Voor Artsen) at the Radboud University Nijmegen, and obtainedhis Dental Medical Degree in 2012. In 2011 he started his residency at the department ofOral and Maxillofacial surgery Radboud University Nijmegen, Medical Centre (currenthead: professor dr. S.J. Bergé) which he will complete in 2015. In march 2014 he recieved his PhD with his thesis titled "3D Stereophotogrammetric assessment of surgical nose procedures".
