  • Haslux
    Founder & Developer
    Haslux Apr 2020 - May 2021
HASLUX is creating a platform that allows web agencies to create customizable websites for medium-sized businesses for a lower price with the quality of a custom website. Using our Design System agencies only develop 'blocks' in the style of the end-customer, these blocks can then be moved around by the end-customer and content can be edited.I am currently building out the platform, and in the meantime I use the platform to create websites for customers. I also do some freelancing under the name HASLUX.The platform is built according to JAMStack architecture giving us a 4x speed increase over competitors like WordPress. Our stack is based on Node, ES6, React, and Google Firestore. The good stuff.
  • Backbase
    Customer Success Consultant (Frontend)
    Backbase Jul 2018 - Mar 2020
    Amsterdam, Nl
At Backbase I spent most of my time assisting customers with the implementation of our software, making sure the implementation would become a success. When assisting customers it would mainly be about complicated frontend-related problems however sometimes we would also provide knowledge about setting up proper scrum ceremonies, helping them prioritise or any other problems that might occur, technical or functional. When back in the office I acted as a technical stakeholder in a big recode of one of our main product lines providing insights from some of our customers on requirements and priorities.
  • Backbase
    Pre-Sales Engineer (Frontend)
    Backbase Jul 2017 - Jul 2018
    Amsterdam, Nl
At Backbase the sales cycles were very lengthy and highly technical. As a Pre-Sales Engineer my job was to assist our sales organisation when they needed technical expertise. On the regular I would create Proof of Concepts for Financial Institutions, a very small team would fly out to the prospect and create a working Proof of Concept op top of their current architecture in about 2 weeks to demonstrate the power of the Backbase product lines. If requested I would give technical presentations regarding frontend architecture or give trainings to developers and technical stakeholders. When in the office I would work on our showcase projects, out of the box experiences for a bank or insurance company that could be used in sales presentations and internal and external trainings to Service Integrators like CapGemini. We would improve these all the time, fix bugs and add new features.
