I launched my own reselling startup, in which I researched and sold sneakers and clothes, managed customers, and tracked inventory & shipping. I learned how to navigate online marketplaces like StockX, Goat, and Ebay and how to manage a business and profits. Generated thousands of $ in profit

Launched a blog through Instagram, where I wrote and posted short articles on current trends in sports, business, and fashion. I aimed to bring awareness and interest to certain topics in these industries.

I interned at NST Apparel, a global garment manufacturer with production facilities across Europe and Asia. NST aims to bring to life the ideas and creations of luxury apparel brands by being at the forefront of innovation, creativity, technology, and service. While working at NST's Portugal facility, I learned about production, manufacturing, grading, and shipment. I observed the shop floor, shadowed executives, and attached clothing labels. I saw how character & culture impact business and how a corporation runs on a global scale, showing me the career path of business management that I would like to pursue.

Through FTE's Economics for Leaders selective summer program, I explored economics by learning about supply & demand, labor laws, & GDP. I observed how this economic analysis could be applied to real-world scenarios and public policy. By attending on a college campus at Rice University, I also grew friendships with diverse people and expanded my worldview.

Through UMass' McCormack Sport Management & Leadership Course, I learned key concepts of marketing, sponsorships, data analytics, and DEI from sports business industry leaders. Kraft Sports managers, professors, and sport executives showed me how business intertwined with markets and athletes. This inspired me to create my own reselling business.

AI Fluency Bootcamp is a pre-college artificial intelligence course in which I learned basic coding concepts like python, linear regression, and natural language processing. I worked with team members to create a final academic project on the use and importance of decision trees. I learned how AI can influence machine learning and technology.

I attended Columbia Business School's Global Entrepreneurship & Leadership Innovation Course, in which I planned, researched & collaborated with a team on a venture. I learned concepts like blockchain, business models, and market sizing. We presented a marketing pitch presentation to a panel of global business leaders and our team won the Best Branding Award. I was offered a TA position for the next session.
