Tired of selling your life hour by hour, building someone else's dream? Tired of living paycheck to paycheck? I know I was. I started working when I was about 15, changing tires after school. Because I had to, I require myself to be productive. If you're not learning/growing daily, and taking action what are you doing? Changing tires in the middle of a hot GA summer will make you second guess your life choices. And question I did. Determined to better my situation, I made learning my favorite hobby. Devouring all the info, I could about IT, computers, and electronics in general. As long as I can remember I have had an obsession with learning how everything works. Electronics especially, I got my first PC when I was 8 years old in the year 2000. Flash forward 22 years and still I am amazed with electronics, IT, and solving problems with no end in sight. I went from changing tires, to building houses, expanded my skills to include Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, and automation. Got my certifications and after a lot of hard work I started a construction company with my father. I loved every minute of it, solving problems, helping people, working with my dad and building a positive future. Everything was great, until it wasn't. When my father and I started our company together he was already 58, and a lifetime of back breaking hard work had taken its toll. He always said, "Son, don't be like me. Use that thing between your ears for more than a hat rack. Work smarter, not harder." Watching him struggle as his body began failing him was the motivation, I needed to again completely shift my career, to learn another new skill set. Taking stock of what I already knew I decided to shift my career to building computers, networks and IT automation. Due to my interests, I already had a lot of the skills needed. Growth and success require living outside of your comfort zone. This mindset has gotten me into some complicated situations but allowed me to accomplish feats I had never dreamed of. In 2017 I was employed as a cross platform mobile developer. As the sole developer on a project that was to serve multiple corporations of more than 50,000 employees. Anything is possible if you try.Fast-forward to today. I have my own company again. Helping people start small businesses and grow them successfully.
