Responsible for setting up and maintaining reliable integrations between ING's KYC solution and third parties to support the successful and efficient handling of CDD cases. Onboarded and worked fully remote due to COVID, meeting most colleagues only once throughout the full year of working here. Worked with two offshore teams in Bangalore, increasing team effectivity and predictability through close cooperation and clear communication with the team.

After the successful go-live of Binck Savings, I have changed focus within BinckBank and have taken up the role as Product Owner of Binck's B2B-business.Binck's B2B business had been active for about 15 years and had just started a technical migration to a new platform. I was asked to switch role to be Product Owner B2B, to guide the implementation of this migration, ensuring that the migration would run smoothly and would result in a superior product for the customer. I started with reviewing the product vision and strategy with the commercial colleagues, to ensure that we all had the same end goal in mind for development, and followed up with growing the development capacity from one scrum team to three teams (one nearshoring and two in Amsterdam), which I guided as product owner. With these three teams, we cooperate with on average 6 other scrum teams within Binck (each with their own product owners), as well as our commercial colleagues and all other departments involved or influenced by this migration, such as Risk/Compliance, IT Infrastructure, Customer Acceptance, CDD, etc.

Became Product Owner of the Savings value stream within BinckBank, responsible for the complete development and launch of the new Binck Savings product. This has encompassed tasks such as creating a clear product vision, creating a new team backlog, for my scrum team, ensuring that the team has the right focus and cooperating with the product owners of other teams to ensure a timed release. To launch this product, I closely coordinated the cooperation between all relevant teams and departments within Binck, such as Sales, Marketing, UX, and other scrum teams. Also gained valuable experience in cooperating with external (foreign) partners of this product, creating clear goals for our cooperation and being involved in the contractual setup and launch of the product.Binck Savings was launched on February 15th, 2018.Since Binck was taken over by Saxo in 2019, Binck Savings is no longer offered to customers, as Saxo does not have or want Savings as a value stream.

After three years, I decided to take the step from Business Analyst to Product Owner. As preparation for this job change, I followed Xebia's Certified Scrum Product Owner course, and continued learning on the job at BinckBank.As Product Owner, I was responsible for continued development of the back-end system and the successful launch of several regulatory projects and features for Binck in the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy.

Working on translating business requirements into clear and complete functional requirements, in cooperation with business stakeholders and the developers/testers in the scrum team. Also focused on maintaining a helicopter view of the system when new changes are requested, to ensure that these changes in the system are built in a robust and future-proof way. In this role I have worked as part of a scrum team focused on several regulatory projects for Binck in the Netherlands and Belgium, ensuring that the business requests were swiftly translated and kept to a minimum to be able to finish work before the deadline of the regulator. After that, I worked on the setup and go-live of the Binck brand in Italy, focused mainly on the specifications and implementation regarding Italian taxes.From January 1st, 2015, I also became the scrum master of my team, helping the team to increase the velocity by becoming more efficient in daily work.

Selected as one of seven to join a five month IT-course at BinckBank, starting on December 1st, 2011. This course is meant to prepare and train non-IT schooled people for a job at IT in the company.

I was an intern at the Centre for Urban Planning Research, where my main function was to reflect on Chinese planning situations from a Western point of view.
