From 1994 through 2002, I served as an assistant State Attorney in the Fourth Judicial Circuit in Jacksonville, Florida where I participated in over 100 jury trials. I specialized in the prosecution of complex crimes including homicides, sexual assaults, domestic violence, child abuse, robbery, burglary, narcotics, civil commitment of sexual predators, habitual felony offenders, public corruption, racketeering, fraud and Baker Acts.I served as Division Chief of County Court where I trained and supervised new prosecutors. I specifically trained them in the prosecution of Domestic Violence and DUI.Investigated and prosecuted misdemeanors, felonies and capital crimesI have Criminal Trial experience in the presentation of expert testimony including DNA, medical, serology, toxicology, narcotics, pathology, mental health, surveillance, ballistics and print analysis.
