I am currently employed at Hilton Herbs Ltd, where I am responsible for stock control and warehouse procedures. Our company provides natural supplements and quality grade herbs to animals of all varieties. Hilton Herbs specialise in the equine Industry and have a large range of products in this area, but we do also formulate and manufacture specialist supplements for pets such as cats and dogs. My role comprises stock management, monitoring goods in and out, shipping and tracking of goods, warehouse logistics, costing and pricing of materials, ensuring efficiency within manufacturing processes, supplier relations and when required, staff management and general warehouse duties. I strive to help to maintain a safe workplace for myself and my colleagues whilst in the workplace. I always try to invest time into workplace development and efficiency by exploring how we can improve procedures within the production process, and how, as a team, we can better operate under the pressures of a heavy workload.I have been first aid trained for 6 years, I am also an experienced and competent forklift driver using our truck to load and unload deliveries on a daily basis.In my spare time I like to explore the countryside by getting out and hiking as much as possible. I think being outside is something that benefits us all, no matter what the weather! Getting out and about and seeing what our country has to offer has also inspired me to become a keen photographer, and I can spend hours out and about with my camera. I also enjoy hobbies such as playing guitar and drums, gaming, fishing, reading, and DIY (if you can call that a hobby?).
