As an analyst in Local Business Banking, I primarily worked within the SME space with clients ranging from $1-$30 million turnover. My role involved working collaboratively with Relationship Managers, Executives and Support Teams to deliver a quality and timely end to end process for our clients. This involved writing credit that is of high standards, creating solutions specific to the customer, and facilitating a timely and stress-free fulfilment.My role offered me the opportunity to support the financial wellbeing of our people, businesses and communities through upholding responsible lending practices, and allowed me to facilitate building relationships with our clients through offering commercial lending, asset finance, foreign exchange, trade finance, transactional banking and personal lending.

Being a graduate in Local Business Banking involved undertaking a 12 month rotational program in which I developed an in-depth understanding of the Business & Private Banking business, specifically in the SME sector. The program ensures direct exposure to clients, developing technical skills and building capabilities to deliver solutions. As a graduate I also had diverse experiences in project management and community involvement.
