As a filmmaker who made the great leap from the midwest to the west coast, I have a passion for bringing stories to life through the lens of a camera. I studied film production at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where I honed my technical and creative skills in various aspects of filmmaking. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2019, I have worked on several projects as a cinematographer and director, ranging from music videos and commercials to feature films. Most notably, I completed my first feature film, Rebel//Rebel (2021), as the director of photography. I also worked as a second unit DP on a widely released feature film, Rollers (2020). My work is characterized by a wide range of techniques, lenses, and exposures, with a focus on the story and the frame. I am always eager to learn new skills, explore new genres, and collaborate with talented and diverse teams.
