As Executive Member, I am accountable to lead the MAPS volunteer group:• Be the principal (first) contact point for all administrative, governance and strategic directionmatters with ACT Emergency Services Agency, NSW RFS and other organisations.• Attend quarterly Minister’s Meeting with ESA Volunteers on behalf of MAPS.• Prepare and deliver presentations about MAPS.• Attend events representing MAPS volunteers.• Be available to MAPS members to support them as senior leaders of the group.

The Senior Marine Surveyor Inspections provides technical advice, contributes to the development, implementation and evaluation of inspection related activities and policies.

• Liaise closely with internal and external stakeholders regarding maritime domain awareness, including participating in appropriate forums, committees, and working groups.• Initiate, develop and manage projects related to maritime domain awareness, including craft tracking, with a focus on Craft Tracking related projects.• Research and monitor developments in maritime domain awareness and craft tracking at national, regional and international levels. • Manage and support the Common Operating Picture for maritime domain spatial view for AMSA including the development of display tools current and future.

• Direct a complex body of work of strategic value to AMSA.• Manage all planning activities (including resource planning) for the provisioning of National System information system, its integration and implementation into the AMSA environment and its on-going maintenance and support.• Ensure that the National System information system addresses the approved business requirement specifications.• Contribute specialist expertise to develop AMSA organisational capability to realise the National System Transition Program benefits. • Manage risk mitigation activity to address significant program delivery risk.• Prepare and maintain the project management products required by the Program Control Strategy, including the project plan, project logbook and work packages.• Manage the project’s governance and assurance processes.• Monitor progress of the project, manage related risks and prepare project status reports and Executive reports as required.• Liaise within AMSA and with the Program Team to ensure that dependencies are identified and there is no duplication in related projects.• Lead and motivate the project contributors and work package leads.• Liaise with any external suppliers or account managers associated with the project outcomes.• Facilitate decisions required to progress the project and inform the Program Manager of any deviations from the plan.• Manage the production of the required products and assets, including quality reviews, acceptance handover to the business owner as required.• Track and report on the project’s budget position and use of resources.• Take responsibility for overall progress, resolving issues, management of assets, quality reviews and initiating corrective action where necessary.
