I am frequently asked why a detail oriented accountant can't do math without her calculator? When you have 3,000+ numbers on a spreadsheet adding in your head would be quite the challenge! I have worked in the accounting field for many years with my skill set ranging from A/R to A/P to Finance. Most think about Accountants being their 'Tax Guy' but I have found it is so much more. I have always had a fire in my stomach to learn and the accounting field has so many areas of interest. Why would someone hire me? I have progressed in my career with hunger and desire to learn every aspect of any business I have worked in. I work with diligence and determination in every task I am given or find for myself. My childhood personal goal was to become a 'Career Woman.’ With inspiring mentors and my 10 year plan I am making great strides in reaching my goal!
