The Alzheimer’s Association Care Facilitators of Idaho will provide personalized care consultations to dementia patients and their loved ones to support and guide them through the difficult post-diagnosis journey. Our vision is an Idaho where dementia patients and their loved ones never feel alone. In partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association, our team aims to provide one-on-one consultation services to dementia patients and their loved ones to discover the best options for legal support, financial advising, emotional support, caregiving options, and educational resources. Our team is creating a complex, sustainable business model in the non-profit sector that meets the needs of all of our various stakeholders.

Perform a variety of tasks related to registering patients and paging clinic staff and physicians. Greet and direct patients to their destinations.I fulfill a customer service role, so interpersonal and communication skills are integral to the job. I must help patients understand complex documents related to the admissions process, listen carefully to patients' concerns and correctly answer questions. As a registrar I must be able to work under pressure in an environment that changes frequently.The primary task is to ensure that patients are admitted in a timely fashion and that all information about them is correct. As a registrar I enter patient information into the computer system and confirm that information upon arrival of the patient. On a daily basis I also do a variety of clerical tasks, such as preparing charts or other documents, filing, faxing, answering phones and taking messages.

My team and I receive relevant training to develop and implement programs designed to improve campus well-being. I have gone through the process to become a Certified Peer Health Educator in accordance with standards set forth by the BACCHUS Network. Collaborate with Resident Assistant Peers, Program Assistants, campus resources, and other campus groups to plan and execute programs for residents. Assist and mentor a co-ed building of 50-80 residents as well as establish and maintain relationships with each resident. Encouraging on campus involvement and promoting the variety of resources available on campus is a must. Working well with a large and diverse staff is crucial in this leadership role. I am continuously enforcing housing policy as well as campus policies. I also perform a variety of clerical work such as answering a multi-line phone; answer emails, filing, and submitting requested documents into the computer drive, etc.
