I am a Customer Service Representative at Ardent Mills who has a hidden talent of juggling. I don't mean juggling like I should join the circus, I mean in the sense that I am a multitasking professional. I not only work full time, but I am also pursuing my BA in Communications and have 2 young children. I am a people person who can talk to anyone and enjoys helping others. I worked for the operations and facilities department for Denver Public Schools for over 10 years, which helped me realize that Communications was the career path I wanted to follow. I have always had a natural talent for talking to people and my position allowed me to connect with school leaders, various department managers, and the families in our communities. Having these various perspectives, showed me how important public perception is to having a thriving business. This is what helped me discover my ultimate career goal of becoming a pubic relations specialist. I would like to help a company find or further shape it’s identity with the public and helping the community feel connected to the business. Creating trust is the first step toward building a healthy relationship, this rule applies to consumers and company relationships as well. As a detailed person who can look at situations from multiple angles, I know its important that someone is able to understand the varying effects a certain issue has on everyone involved. These traits will benefit me in a career working with the public as well as an organization and I am excited to continue learning and developing these skills as I pursue my career goals.
