About Joe Cuticone

As a design professional it’s always been important for me to look at ideas with a fresh perspective and create brand experiences for consumers that are meaningful and impactful. I enjoy finding that magical balance between business and art in ways that bring originality and style to otherwise ordinary consumer goods. Having immigrated to the US from Italy at a young age, I quickly turned to art and design as a way of expression and communication. It was during this time that my natural curiosity for art started to shine and I began to understand that visual communication would be my life calling. I was fortunate to receive a painting scholarship from the Brooklyn Museum School, and then a design internship to the Metropolitan Museum of Art design department. This set the stage for a life in design. After graduating from the School of Visual arts in graphic communication, I was introduced to this wonderful thing called branding, I was hooked and its been my passion ever since. I love what I do. In particular I love that wow factor, that sparkle in some ones eye when a piece of my work appeals to them. Milton Glaser said it best: “There are three responses to a piece of design - yes, no, WOW! ...Wow is the one to aim for.”
