ROOG is an early stage startup that is building a social commerce platform to address the problems many small businesses face when marketing their products and services online. With a moonshot goal of ending the imbalance in consumer spending for small businesses in the U.S., Roog was established in 2017 and we incubated the concept through the University of Texas at Austin's entrepreneurship graduate program. The Roog app connects consumers to the small business market (focused on minority, women and veteran owned businesses).Out of 90+ business graduate students and teams, our product placed third in 2018's University of Texas business plan "pitch" competition and first in 2019's operations plan "pitch" competition. Established communication with prospects through cold calls, emails and social media posts and set up a sales pipeline through Hubspot to conduct demos with users for feedback on our design and user experience.

Directed team of 15 personnel in daily operations for the replenishment department to ensure policy and procedure adherence while training employees to reach optimal performance resulting in a 5% increase in savings within the department. Analyzed individual and team production numbers daily to identify common behaviors that reduce performance such as time on task, extended lunch breaks and cell phone usage when working in designated stocking areas. Motivated associates to improve performance through counseling, training and positive reinforcement while identifying opportunities for them to gain more work experience and utilize their skills effectively within the distribution center.

Responsible for ensuring that a fleet of approximately 220 Riders adhere to policy and procedures to ensure safety and provide the best customer service.Led the launch of mobile operations to optimize delivery time for customers while assisting the team with improving inventory tracking for all equipment needed to successfully sustain daily operations.

Managed social media accounts by posting relevant articles to Facebook and Twitter at least once a week to engage customers and analyze feedback to improve the user experience for Goodreader. Prioritized customer technical issues for the support team and assisted in resolving technical requests via email and Salesforce. Reviewed promotional videos and beta tested software updates before releasing the final software version to the app store.

Refined and implemented the Ready and Resilient Campaign (R2C) for the West Point Community while developing metrics for the R2C campaign based on feedback from Directors and Senior Army Leaders to inform the West Point Community about the programs available through the R2C campaign.

Responsible for the operation of a public relations and marketing program in 10 Southwestern states while Identifying and evaluating approximately 500 minority applicants to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Represented West Point in speaking engagements throughout the country to educate large audiences on the opportunities and requirements of the U.S. Army and West Point.

Assisted in planning training events and supervised section activities while maintaining situational awareness with the operations center. Synchronized the movement of three firing batteries and accurately assessed the capabilites of the Battalion to support the Brigade Comander's scheme of maneuver.

Led a M777 field artillery firing platoon conducting individual and collective training in support of a STRYKER Brigade. Responsible for the training and development of a platoon of 36 Soldiers to ensure that the company was capable of conducting fire missions safely. Maintained accountability of equipment valued in excess of $7,500,000 and conducted additional duties as a Training Officer and Family Readiness Group Officer and Treasurer.

Responsible for the requisition, draw, storage and turn-in of all small arms, crew-served and artillery ammunition for a battalion of more than 450 Soldiers. Fully resourced ammunition and pyrotechnics for all training events. Managed the use of the battalion's ammunition carrying assets, maintained accountability of ammunition and ensured that ammunition was distributed based on mix and quantity of ammunition.
