I was raised by Halliburton as a young pup. During my 10 years I was privileged to work in just about every aspect of oilfield support, services and R&D. This career began in the manufacturing setting of retrievable tools. That involved new builds as well as refurbish packers, testing tools, coiled tubing tools, safety tools, sub-sea control valves, well-head isolation tools and completion tools. This sharpened my skills by not only learning the tools and functions, but also the QA/QC that was involved. All of the hard work paid off when I was blessed to join Halliburton’s technology team. This is where I was fully involved in the creation, testing and implementation of new tools and methods to be released to locations all over the world. During that time I was able to work with the coiled tubing and completions departments. I am truly blessed to have this experience under my belt. In addition, I was tasked in the procurement of parts and vendors that could meet manufacturing requirements and quality assurance. I was able to create step-by-step manuals for employees on the international level. Malaysia and Singapore were two places where I was able to train and educate co-workers and customers thus giving a better understanding of the tools and the processes involved in manufacturing and field implementation. I am grateful for the education and opportunities that the company gave me.
