Geologist responsible for the Mancos exploration effort for the North Piceance asset team. This included basin-wide play assessments of several productive intervals, developing geologic models of shoreface to basin lithofacies, and recommending drilling prospects to management. Previous roles within the company include Williams Fork operations and development geologist, DJ Basin operations and development geologist, and Permian Basin exploration geologist.

Internship. Developed a geologic model for water-drive reservoirs near Aneth field, SE Utah. Pennsylvanian carbonate mounds similar to Aneth field were the focus of the project. I used core data and electrical properties to develop a water saturation model that identified bypassed pay in producing fields. Once the net pay was mapped and total resource assessed, I worked on a multi-disciplinary team with drilling and reservoir engineers to develop an integrated reservoir study and play assessment

Tulsa, Oklahoma Area

Internship. Mapped back-stepping shoreface sandstones of the Permian-age Tonkawa Fm., Anadarko Basin, Ellis and Roger Mills counties, Oklahoma. Presented stratigraphic framework, net pay maps, and drilling recommendations to management.
