Brandon Baty is a senior Mechanical Engineering student at Texas Christian University. Brandon has maintained a 3.96 overall GPA through his junior year with over 100 credit hours and a 4.00 GPA in his engineering core, showing his proficiency in all aspects of education, not only engineering. Brandon is now leading a team of 15 senior engineering students working on a senior design project. Lhoist Group, a global company, tasked my team with designing, simulating, manufacturing and testing a rotary drier, based on a provided set of required criteria. Brandon was elected to lead the team by a vote of his fellow senior engineering students, emphasizing the impact and leadership role that Brandon has with his fellow students. Brandon has always been driven to look for new challenges and opportunities for growth. Brandon’s work experience includes internships with Arco Murray as a Project Manager and The Coca-Cola Company Freestyle division, as part of the Manufacturing Engineers troubleshooting group. Project Manager:- Managed the pre-construction process for a large self-storage facility in Los Angeles, CA.- Organized subcontractors, analyzed bids and completed negotiations with multiple tradesmen for the facility.- Managing the schedule, budget and sub-teams on the TCU senior design te.Manufacturing Engineer: - Analyzed issues encountered by the teams of the Freestyle production facility. - Designed, manufactured and tested potential package design changes and presented results to Freestyle management.Engineering Design:- Currently leading a team of 15 fellow senior engineering students with the goal of designing, and delivering a rotary drier for Lhoist Group.Brandon is an accomplished leader and recognized authority with his contemporaries. Brandon is able to quickly grasp the intricacies of various industries and is willing to relocate as required.
