I provided technical and thought leadership on the HP.com Cleansheet project developing the new HP.com Homepage experience, Products experience, Newsroom, Enterprise Business Solutions, etc. across 80+ countries worldwide running on 250+ load balanced web servers with Akamai regional caching services.For "Products Experience", I helped lead the team responsible for delivering the most technically challenging part of the new HP.com website. With an AJAX front end for the web site, Java service layer, Microsoft FAST search engine, and extremely customizeable Tridion CMS system in the back-end we are able to serve millions of product data combinations while meeting strict performance requirements. The result also included creation of HP's first SOA enterprise wide single point of integration for Product content that aggregates data from 9+ disparate back-end systems with near real-time updates.The front-end web application was a J2EE Java application with an enterprise scalable SOA web application built upon Spring framework with aspect oriented enterprise caching. The web application integrated tightly with the Tridion CMS/Broker database as the back-end management system for content. The back-end was a highly customizeable combination of the Tridion CMS publishing engine and a set of develpment frameworks and Tridion templating development patterns that I provided critical thought leadership to develop. The out-of-the box thinking and innovative solutions I delivered enabled the HP implementation of the Tridion CMS system to do things that many told us were never possible and no other implementation has yet achieved!

I was the Lead Developer for the HR Executive Compensation Web Site (ECWS) project. The project budget totaled ~$1.5 million and I was responsible for coordinating with a team of 4 contractors to complete the project and meet all expectations of the Incentives Processing Office client group -- VERY high profile clients within ExxonMobil. In addition to developing a substantial portion of the application and all security related functionality, I was also responsible for team and task coordination, architecture designs, testing, and security & controls for the project.Major accomplishments include:- Designed and implemented security and controls documentation and processes commensurate with the nature of the project and extremely sensitive HR data; extremely strict controls for authentication, authorization, and global data privacy.- Conducted all Security & Controls (S&C) analysis activities, updating over 80 pages of documentation, to ensure air-tight security and sign off by Senior Management including EMIT Vice President, Pat Hewlett.- Received compliments of ExxonMobil Board Members, Top Executives, and CEO Lee Raymond on the artistic renditions and demonstration materials prepared in the early stages of the ECWS Project.- Guaranteed the delivery of a quality application by taking personal responsibility and conducting quality assurance reviews of all JAVA, HTML, and JavaScript code developed by contractors; over 300 files.- Coordinated all testing activities including test plan creation, documentation, training and execution of 5 test phases and 300+ scenarios.- Designed and developed Loadrunner automated load/stress test suite for performance optimization and server load certification to meet business load requirements globally in a load balanced environment.

As a Lead Developer in the Global Documenat Management Services group I was responsible for leading projects, analysis, technical architecture design, development, and technical support activities for over 22 applications and 5,000+ users globally. We developed very powerful custom document management systems build upon FileNet and Documentum technologies, but enhanced by a completely custom workflow system, for ExxonMobil groups around the world.Major accomplishments include:- Created and reviewed security and controls for 22+ applications including several that serviced very sensitive HR & Medical data.- Designed and Developed a custom web based rendering engine for FileNet images using IIS, ASP, JavaScript and VB6 ActiveX COM objects.- I specialized in creating dynamic data scrubbing, conversion and bulk load applications as well as workflow automation normally done by hand. Literally saving HR 6 months of manual effort, and reducing ongoing DMS client migration costs, by importing over 750,000+ documents and hundreds more daily.- Led projects, provided technical analysis and created solution designs / architecture for document management solutions for sites around the Globe including Americas, Europe, Chad, Angola, and Japan.- Integrated document management services from FileNET and Documentum with various systems, including SAP and JAVA based eSpeedBuy, by using VB6, ASP, XML, SQL, and Crytographic API’s to create secure web services and integration points in a Services Oriented Architecture (SOA).

As the Lead Automated Testing Developer I was responsible for designing and developing automated testing scripts and processes in collaboration with the Quality Assurance team. I developed data driven automated testing scripts, suites and frameworks, for efficient and repetitive regression testing using SQA Rational Robot, SQL Server, VB6, and lower level Windows API custom development.Major accomplishments include:- Created the overall framework for ongoing data driven regression testing of LCS "Patron" home health care software.- I provided support and training on all automated testing to the QA group.- Provided results and reports for testing results to aid in defect management of all LCS developed, windows based, software.- Created numerous VB6 internal applications and SQL stored procedures & queries used extensively in testing processes.- Documented technical and instructional aspects of all custom applications, testing suites and frameworks.- Researched the costs, risks, advantages of various testing solutions for LCS developed software.
