- Ability to Identify, facilitate, and interpret various vocational evaluation systems and assessments needed to accurately recognize factors affecting employment, rehabilitation needs and client capabilities- Provide working knowledge of the principles, practices, and implications of testing within psychometric assessment and diagnostic report interpretation- Recognize both transferable skills and functional limitations in conjunction with their potential impact on specific job markets, occupational requirements, work environments and/or daily living, ultimately allowing for successful vocational services and attainment of personal self-efficacy

- Assess client vocational skills, work readiness, and the provision of work readiness programs in accordance with state contracts.- Build and maintain professional relationships within the community, ensuring vocational placement/experiences for people with blindness or other visual impairments.- Develop and implement vocational programming necessary to prepare clients of all ages and abilities for competitive employment.- Provide both group and individualized counseling in all skills necessary for successful competitive placement.
