As Director of the Office of Project Management at AGU, I am responsible for overseeing AGU’s project portfolio and making sure that AGU’s strategic goals are able to quantified, measured and delivered.

Washington D.C. Metro Area

As the Assistant Director of the PMO I was responsible for managing AGU’s enterprise project portfolio and working with the Director of Project management to ensure the execution of AGU’s strategic vision. During my time as Assistant Director I led a project to renovate the first commercial net-zero energy building in Washington DC, led a multimillion-dollar innovation R&D effort and worked with AGU membership to create resources to facilitate “science for good.”

Washington D.C. Metro Area

I was responsible for creating complex simulations that were a mechanism for building the U.S STEM (Science, Education, Engineering and Mathematics) Pipeline. I worked closely with U.S Government agencies such as NASA and NOAA and the private organizations such as Lockheed Martin and Boeing. Major successes included creating a new digital simulation platform and implementing a new simulation program with a reach of 400,00 recipients.

Burlington, Vermont Area

I worked with several organizations across the state of Vermont to decrease sleep related automobile fatalities and make cost prohibitive medical sleep equipment available for free of charge to qualified Vermonters.

Mbabane, Swaziland

I worked with national and international stakeholders on several initiatives that aimed to reduce HIV incidence and prevalence in Eswatini. These initiatives included working with government leaders on nationwide disease response policy, providing project management/finance training for community grant awardees and implementing a financial literacy program for women with entrepreneurial aspirations.

Matsanjeni, Shiselweni, Eswatini

I lived in a rural village in Eswatini with the goal of working with the community to build sustainable improvements. These sustainable improvements were expressed though the creation and execution of a variety of projects. Those projects included developing water-based infrastructure systems, mass media health campaigns, community-based HIV/AIDS outreach treatment programs and pediatric nutrition monitoring and evaluation programs.
