Worked on the Presales team to act as a technical consultant to prospective customers and partners interested in Attivio's Cognitive Search platform. Responsibilities were spread across multiple phases of the sales process, beginning with demos and technical overviews early on, then subsequently scoping, implementing, and showcasing custom POCs to get the technical win. Development efforts were typically a mix of product configuration, customization (Java), and UI work (React JS). Outside of direct sales activity, regularly oversaw and mentored co-ops and interns on the Presales team, guiding them through learning the Attivio platform, becoming familiar with the sales process, and building out demos for new/emerging use cases Attivio was pursuing.

Worked on a diverse mix of legal and strategy products for device manufacturers, network operators, and infrastructure providers. Also assisted in a technical role in a startup analyzing codebase architecture.

Worked on various projects ranging from the exploration of opportunities for the use of Big Data at SSgA to various mobile and end user productivity technologies. The two most prominent projects dealt with evaluating Unified Information Access platforms and Business Intelligence/Data Visualization tools. Additional responsibilities included being an active member of the Communication, Collaboration, and Training (CCT) Committee, and assisting with the development and maintenance of several SharePoint sites.

My primary job responsibility was to utilize Forrester, Gartner, and other online resources to fulfill research requests for architects throughout the Corporate Technology Office. These requests included vendor snapshots, and topics ranging from Master Data Management, to High Power Computing, to Social Security Optimization tools, and many things in between. I also worked closely with an architect on projects related to the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), a content management solution, and a new compensation system for our sales network. The other two primary job functions I was responsible for was to assist the SharePoint team, where I assisted in fulfilling access requests, building workflows using Nintex Workflow, and the occasional training task, and the Co-op Project, for which I was the Development Team Lead for a team spanning multiple offices in Boston and Toronto.
